The Ordinary’s Salicylic Acid 2% Masque is a budget-friendly solution designed to address congested, oily, and dull skin. The key ingredient, salicylic acid, is a powerful beta hydroxy acid (BHA) that exfoliates dead skin cells both on the surface and within the pores, revealing a brighter and clearer complexion. It also helps to soothe inflammation, reducing existing blemishes while preventing new ones. The masque’s striking black color comes from charcoal, which, along with Amazonian clays, works to deeply cleanse and purify pores. This combination leaves your skin clearer, smoother, and more radiant.
### How to Use
Apply once or twice a week to dry skin after cleansing. Spread the masque evenly over your face and leave it on for 10 minutes before rinsing thoroughly with lukewarm water. Avoid using on sensitive, peeling, or compromised skin. Keep away from the eye contour and avoid direct contact with eyes during application and rinsing. Perform a patch test before full application: apply the product to a small area once a day for three days to check for sensitivity. If you experience severe irritation, hives, swelling of the eyes and mouth, blistering, or difficulty breathing, rinse off immediately, discontinue use, and consult a physician. Keep out of reach of children.
